Drawstring Tarot Bag is a simple, lined bag to keep your tarot or oracle cards safe. The pouch features a boxed bottom and a drawstring closure that is handmade from the lining fabric. There is enough fabric leftover from this project to use as an altar cloth for your readings. Craft your bag with intention on the new moon to enhance it's power, and infuse even more magic into it by leaving it out under the light of the full moon.
A no-sew rope basket has been on my DIY list ever since that one time I made string bowls, which honestly weren’t that sturdy though were fun to make. Using macrame rope this time, I love the natural and minimal look this basket has, and because I wanted to go smaller on the basket size I went with a thinner rope. A thicker rope would work beautifully as well and would be even sturdier and easier since it wouldn’t require as many rows. I’m doing that next time!
And of course, this could be done with sewing and would be a lot more durable that way and should probably be the first line of action if possible, but for the don’t-have-or-want-to-get-a-sewing-machine-or-know-how-to-sew club, this option will satisfy the craving. For all my no sew DIYs, I use this fabric glue which has held up SO well across all my no sew projects. Literally sewing in a tube.
