Learn to sew the cutest patchwork flower throw pillow with this beginner friendly sewing tutorial.
Cut the fabric to 13cm in width and height, leaving a 0.7cm seam allowance.
Connect the five pieces only at the corners where the ends meet.
Prepare two identical petals, each of five pieces.
The top and bottom petals are made by stitching five pieces of lime green fabric together, connecting the side edges.
The key is to stitch while aligning the ends!
Turn the fabric inside out, leaving a hole.
Fill the pointed ends with cotton, evenly filling them.
After filling the cotton, seal the window hole
For the center section, use a button loop on both sides, threading several layers of thread through a needle. Pull the buttons firmly, pulling them firmly.
Attach pearl beads to the corners where the main petal fabric and the side fabric meet. Tug firmly on the thread to give the cushion some volume and finish.
It was a bit challenging, requiring me to pull the thread to create volume, but
I'm so proud of how beautifully it turned out!
