Continuous thread needle case. I don't know about you but there are times I get sick of continuously threading needles. Like, when I am tacking a quilt or sewing paper piecing shapes by hand. Then I saw some one with a continuous thread needle case and had to design one for myself.

I wanted to offer you a DIY “full of love”: the heart tote bag. Very simple and very effective in case of a bout of blues, one look at your bag and your smile will return…

These simple baskets are easier than they look - the Eyelash stitch motif along the sides give the effect of a woven basket and results in a super sturdy fabric. They might look a little wobbly at first, but by blocking and shaping them on a form (I used a small tin, a clean wastebasket, and a soup pot for mine), you’ll get nice, even rows.

Drawstring Tarot Bag is a simple, lined bag to keep your tarot or oracle cards safe. The pouch features a boxed bottom and a drawstring closure that is handmade from the lining fabric. There is enough fabric leftover from this project to use as an altar cloth for your readings. Craft your bag with intention on the new moon to enhance it's power, and infuse even more magic into it by leaving it out under the light of the full moon.

A no-sew rope basket has been on my DIY list ever since that one time I made string bowls, which honestly weren’t that sturdy though were fun to make. Using macrame rope this time, I love the natural and minimal look this basket has, and because I wanted to go smaller on the basket size I went with a thinner rope. A thicker rope would work beautifully as well and would be even sturdier and easier since it wouldn’t require as many rows. I’m doing that next time!

And of course, this could be done with sewing and would be a lot more durable that way and should probably be the first line of action if possible, but for the don’t-have-or-want-to-get-a-sewing-machine-or-know-how-to-sew club, this option will satisfy the craving. For all my no sew DIYs, I use this fabric glue which has held up SO well across all my no sew projects. Literally sewing in a tube.

They are quick and make great gifts, either as pincushions or just as cute ornaments. And a great way to use up those very last scraps of your favourite fabric! Here is the pattern and step-by-step instructions on how I made them.

These pouches are so sweet and really take just 5 minutes to make. I first measured the party treat bags I was using (which are 4" x 6" and about 2" deep) which determined the size of the pouch - mine measure ~6" at the bottom and ~11" tall finished.
