How to Make a Flower Brooch from Leather

You need:
1) genuine leather (thickness about 0.8 mm)
2) paper, pen
3) scissors
4) gel pen (silver)
5) PVA glue and an instant glue
6) brush
7) water
8) wire
9) stamens
10) soldering iron
11) nozzle (for processing the petals)
12) waxed thread
13) brooch pin
14) cardboard

I used Italian genuine leather and suede of high quality.
First, I made the pattern. Painted petals and leaves on thick paper and cut them out.

To get a harmonious flower, you can first study fresh flowers. And when you make your own flower, draw it to understand the size and the number of petals.

 Select leather.

 Transfer the pattern on the leather using the silver gel pen.

 At this step, I used water and PVA glue.
Wash the petals in water and dry them, and then treat with glue and give them shape.

 The leaves dry out in the right shape.

 Make the heart of the flower from a flat button, leather strips, stamens and floral wire.

 Then assemble the flower petals.

 With the help of soldering iron and the nozzle (round single knife) make the veins of the leaves.
Fix the pin on the receptacle.

Attach the wire along the contour of the leaves and hide it under a strip of leather.
After that, attach all the parts of the flower together.
